New beginnings are everywhere.
Every moment is a chance for a new life, a new direction.
in a split second
nothing is different, you think
yet everything has changed
This is Life.
It truly is Amazing.
Welcome to Radical Amazement, A Blog, and more importantly, welcome to this radically amazing life. Check it out, look around. This world is fantabulous. Astonishing. Amazing. Wow. Look, now – don’t miss it!
We are creative beings, as my sister’s parting words continue to remind me, and so this blog is a place for my evolving creativity – essays, poems, photos, posts for peace, and who knows what. As of this writing, I am not entirely sure of its direction, but I am willing to let it unfold.
I am… artist. writer. student. I am fledgling Bodhisattva. I am blogger. yogini. vagabond craving home. I am spiritually grounded and religiously non-dogmatic. I am agnostic with a great deal of faith. I am a pessimistic optimist and an optimistic pessimist. I believe we all have much greater potential than we let on, and that we should really stop hiding that truth.
Also, we should laugh more, and play more.
Want to play? Get creative, come along for the ride, revel in this Radically Amazing world. Let’s link up, share insights, create this world out of laughter. We’ve all got a peace. Got a piece. Of the puzzle. This radically amazing ever-changing never-changing puzzle.
Want more stories? Please come visit me over at my other blog too: Dharma Dawgs. There you will find stories of Twinkle (aka Li’l Bit) and Star, my 4 legged dharma teachers, as they share their journey toward therapy dawg-dom, and offer dharma teachings to their humans. You will also find there the occasional post about homeless dharma dawgs, which I will encourage you (read beg and plead) to share in hopes that the dogs and the humans that need them will find each other. (Note: At the moment, Dharma Dawgs – the Blog – is on a hiatus. Star and Twinkle are busy planning their next move… they will be back soon)
Many blessings all the way around ~ May your life be joy-full and free, and may you discover that the secret to true happiness is that there is no secret to true happiness.
“Our goal should be to live life in radical amazement… get up in the morning and look at the world in a way that takes nothing for granted. Everything is phenomenal; everything is incredible; never treat life casually. To be spiritual is to be amazed.” Abraham Joshua Heschel
