Did you know that February is National Haiku Writing Month?  Yup. According to the website:  “Why February? Because it’s the shortest month –  for the world’s shortest genre of poetry.”  Who can resist that?  Ok, I love Haiku – I can write one a day for the month.

So today’s post covers my first NaHaiWriMo haiku, as well as being the response to this week’s Ku on This prompt, which you can find here.
